Mrs. Kim on her way to Yewon. She recalls what Jiyoung said earlier about if Mrs. Kim wants to know the truth then visit Yewon. Mrs. Kim is shocked to see Mr. Kim present at Yewon. She asks Jinjoo’s mother if Mr. Kim is Jinjoo’s father. Jinjoo’s mother doesn’t know how to respond, she whispers to Jinjoo to tell Mrs. Kim that Mr. Kim is not Jinjoo’s father and thank for for inviting her over for the meal. She gets up and leave.

Mrs. Kim is angry at Mr. Kim. She knows he’s hiding stuff from her, and she can’t confirm if Jinjoo is his daughter.

Junwoo visits his dad at the family’s business factory where he talks to his dad about moving out (or the possibility of having Jinjoo’s mother staying with them). He’s glad that his father is happy with the idea proposed.

Junwoo calls for Jinjoo via cell phone, she’s in their bedroom with her mother. He said that his parents are more than glad to welcome Jinjoo’s mother to stay in Korea permanently. She’s delighted. She said she’ll do anything for him. He asks for a baby brother for Star - more babies in the works for them? Hehe.

Youngmin looks for Jiyoung. He’s pissed that Jiyoung told his mother to go to Yewon. He said that if anything is to happened to his mother, he won’t leave her alone. Jiyoung and her love speech to Youngmin, she’s a noisy girl. She said she’ll divorce him. He corrected her saying, ‘Wrong, it’s me who’ll divorce you.” (something to that extent).

Jinjoo’s mother packs up her clothes, she’s leaving for Vietnam. The Kang family asked Jinjoo’s mother to stay, she’s thankful for their kindness but said she wants to live in Vietnam.

Junwoo calls Mr. Kim to tell him that Jinjoo’s mother will leave for Vietnam. Mr. Kim feels guilty and head to the airport. At the airport, Mrs. Kang is shocked when she hear Jinjoo address Mr. Kim as her dad, she knows now truth. Mr. Kim cries and said sorry to Jinjoo’s mother, she said she understands. He’s forgiven by mother and daughter.

Mrs. Kim watches the video of Jinjoo on television searching for her dad. She puts all the clues together and confirms that Jinjoo is her husband daughter. At the same time, Mr. Kim calls for a family meeting where he confesses, it’s about time. In their bedroom, Mr. Kim begs for Mrs. Kim forgiveness, she angrily slaps him. (Mrs. Kim owns this scene, her emotions are real that us audience can feel her being betrayed). ENDS.

    * * *

Golden Bride Episode 62. A mediocre episode, not much to summarize as the key peoples knows the truth, we’re just waiting for a conclusion.

Mr. Kang has bought a property for Jinjoo to start her business. I think they name the shop ‘Golden Bride’, not sure.

Jiyoung is crazy! Haha! She grabs the divorce paper and runs out of court. She avoids Youngmin’s phone calls. As a last desperate attempt to save her marriage, she goes to look for Mrs. Kim and begs for forgiveness only to find Mrs. Kim laying unconscious in bed.

Preview: It looks like Jinjoo either has birth complications, or getting ready to go into labor {smoothly}. The finale next week! Happy ending but I hope for something really cute for our couple. Just give us all the mushy scenes in the last episodes, we don’t mind.

ohk. i see. i was sad though that there wasn’t any pics. i was so looking forward to seeing the pics so i could be able to see the couples sweet moments together like always.

btw thanks apdy. i saw the episode. eventhough some of the parts i wasn’t able to watch at times. but thank again for the fast upload.

i was angry and sad at the same time when watching this episode.

don’t u guys think jin joo’s mom is such a nice person. she even forgave him for what he did to her n jin joo. mr kim left them and didn’t even acknowledge his daughter and yet she forgave him. i thought she was going to give a slap or something. hahah!!!

but was sad though at the part when they were at the airport. i was actually crying. even jin joo forgave him. i was so touched at what jin joo did. she was asking her dad to stop crying and not to worry and just forget about it. he should be thankful to them. i think jin joo even cover for him right?? so that mrs kim won’t find out. right???

what a sad moment when jin joo’s mom was living the place. the whole kang family tried to persuade her to stay. what a loving family. jin joo is lucky to have a family like that. jun woo is also lucky to have a mother in law like jin joo’s mom. jin joo will really miss her mom.

at last mr kang n mrs kang n mrs kim n young soo found out the truth. it was about time mrs kim found out.

btw is young soo n saemi able to get married?? i’m not sure about the whole brother n step sister relationship thing. cos jin joo is saemi’s sister in law n she is also young soo’s step sister so are they able to get married?? poor thing. they would be very devastated if they can’t cos they love each other so much n after what they did to get their parents approval n now if they can’t it would be a waste.

i think the part where jun woo n jin joo talking about the mom staying with them would be a very sweet moment. cause like what your sypnosis said he asked her to give baby star a brother is going to be very funny n sweet. hhahahah!!! can’t wait to watch it.

      sorry for the long comment.

forgot something. love the part when ji young got stranggle by young min. not being mean or anything. after what she did to everyone she kind of deserve it. i know she got slap n pushed by many people at times i felt sorry but, it is what she deserve n bcos of her the mother in law found out n she even destroyed her husband’s family. i can’t wait to see the divorce scene. i think ji young thought young min was there to be nice to her or something. i don’t think that she saw that stranggle coming.

I wonder if Mr. Kim had admitted to Mrs. Kim as soon as they got back together after the divorce spell if she would have taken it much better? I also wonder if it is too little too late for Mr.Kim because he is not only destroying the Kim but the marriage prospect of his youngest son. Mrs. Kim is feeling the betrayal and the pain on the behalf also of her youngest son. I guess thats what they mean when they say to deal with problem asap.

Mr. Kim - I have no pity for this guy. He should have dealt with this issue sooner. Covering up and delaying wasn’t the way to go. I knew JJ mom was not going to give him a hard time but somehow I wish she had…. Well now he is paying for it

Mrs. Kim - I think when all is said and done she will accept fact as reality and not go into denial (like a certain person we know….JY *coughs*). I think she will also step up to the plate for the sake of her youngest son Young Soo. She has always backed him when he was on the run with Sae-Mi.

YM - Divorce JY thnkx god! I’m sorry he thought that covering up for his dad and imposing a charade for his mom would work. Also that he told his dad to deny JJ for the sake of the Kim family unit for me was borderline despicable. He should have known better especially given is experience with JY (covering up never ever works!). Perhaps seeing his mom drunk for the years his father wanted to divorce made him go for the extremes but still…. I think he’ll also try to patch up the family somehow after disposing of JY. it was touching the way he held a disbelieving YS who asked his father over and over to deny what he said.

Sae-Mi - I hope she does not blame JJ. People have a tendency to go for the nearest scape goat (aka ‘If I wasn’t for you I could marry YS oppa’)…. I hope not. JJ has at least JW and the rest of Kang family to support her. I think the two young lovers might be tempted to be on the run again.

Kang family - seems concerns to settle Sae-Mi marriage first but unfortunately for them YS found out the truth it will be interesting to see how he will react versus JJ and versus Sae-Mi.

I skipped the airport seen because I knew I was going to bawl and i dont want to right now. it is starting to annoy me the way in which JJ and her mom who already have suffered so much deny themselves the happiness to be together because they are trying to cover up for Mr. Kim. Proximity to him might awake suspicions of his wife. Annoying is a euphemism…. I really thought that finally JJ and her mom could enjoy a little peace and happiness and be together forever and now nope who is going to take care of JJ mom huh?. grrrrrrr. 4 episodes to go.

Jinjoo’s mother said she’ll only feel at ease when she leave and I agree. She got her life wish which is to meet him once, and he asked for her forgiveness. He acknowledges Jinjoo as his daughter, so it ends well for the three of them. Mr. Kim is human again when he said sorry to Jinjoo’s mother and confess to his family, though a bit late, well 20 years late. But I don’t dislike him anymore.

Now Mr. Kim has to beg for forgiveness from his family. I see Mrs. Kim packs up her clothes in the next episode. I think Jinjoo will play a big role to reconcile to the two of them.

Is that Jiyoung refuse to sign the divorce paper and runs out of the court? She’s in her car, don’t tell me she’s going to get into a car accident and Youngmin becomes jello-like towards her.

anne, why would JJ’s mom feel better leaving? did he acknowledge JJ finally? I don’t speak korean so I was just guessing he was saying sorry or something along those lines.

anne - i hope u r kidding about JY refusing to sign the divorce papers but then i think i heard her say smthg in her car which did not seem to mean she had sign the divorce paper. ah man……….. I dont think YM will be jello towards her his mother is the depth of despair and his mom hates JY with the strangling of JY (which for the record I had hoped he would have completed fully…) he clearly showed where his priorities where.

Does YS know that Jy was JW ex-girlfriend?

poor Jinjoo, she has to leave hee mom one more time . I I wondering why can’t she stay in Korea. You guys know that after I see Mr. Kim said that he is sorry to her mom, and she said that he does not to worry that she understand everything, he can live in happiness now. Jinjoo is also said that she forgive him. at least that he going to confess everything I think he will acknowlegde Jinjoo.
To Eunhea00 ,I don’t think that Seami is blames Jinjoo for the fact that Mr. kim is her father , but I don’t what will happend to youngsoo.

I thought that Jinjoo ’s mom will be together with her daughter in the end. but on the other hand, that she already see her lover and Jinjoo’s husband.
And maybe she live in Vietnam for long time, that she will miss her own country, I think that she does not has any other wish.

The Kang and Kim are too related, I don’t think Jinjoo’s mother will be happy if she is to stay in Korea. Also, Mrs. Kim doesn’t know about Jinjoo at this point, Jinjoo’s mother presence will create more chaos for Mr. Kim. I believe Junwoo/Jinjoo said they”ll visit her in Vietnam later.

Even though mother and daughter are not together, Jinjoo can fly her mom over to Korea anytime. It doesn’t take that long to travel from VN to KR, four hours or less. Once she starts her business, she’ll have the money to do so.

Missing the caps. I usually go through those first to get an overview along with the synopsis of what’s going on. Anne - I hope you put them up. *hint-hint* :)
Ah - the long awaited reunion scene between Jin-joo’s mom and Mr. Kim. Jin-Joo’s mom did a great job. You could feel her longing and the love she had for her long lost love. And the disbelief that he was standing right in front of her. When Mrs. Kim came barging in Jin-joo’s mom knew the reason why Mr. Kim never came back for them. Jin-joo’s mom had more integrity and that’s why she told Jin-joo to tell a lie to apease Mrs. Kim’s curiosity. She must’ve known, deep down inside, that that the reason Mr. Kim never came back was because of his original family. She did know that he was married to someone else when they were together in Vietnam, right? I mean the man was going to start anew with her. And he mentioned divorce while dealing with his father’s funeral - noh?

Having said that Jin-joo’s mom has integrity, she knew she couldn’t comfortably stay in Korea. She knew the chaos she already started at Yewon. She was glad to have seen her long lost love, to see Jin-joo after a year, and to have finally met Jun-woo. Then to also be comforted by the fact that Jin’joo was doing well and that Jin-joo’s in-law’s care for her daughter like she was their own. I was sad to see her go, but we know that the drama is going to end soon so how much more of a storyline for her in 3 episodes. She did her part to bring down Mr. Kim but to also give him forgiveness.

The airport scene. My God! Tears were flowing. My heart ached for all three of them. Mr. Kim did an excellent job. You could feel his sincerity when he apologized to Jin-joo’s mom. Jin-joo was relieved to have finally seen closure for her mom and to see that her mom was able to go back to Vietnam without a heavy heart.

OK - We loved the Ji-Young’s strangling scene. My husband and I laughed at that. We thought she had more coming. But then if Young-min had gone through with it he’d be in jail and would any of us be happy with that kind of an ending for Ji-Young? She deserves more punishment than a quick death. We also laughed when Ji-Young innocently *ahem* thought that Young-min came to see her for good intentions. I don’t think she actually thought she had done anything wrong. With all her screaming I thought I would be able to catch/interpret something but it’s beginning to get harder and harder.

Would have loved to see the scene where Jun-woo tells Jin-joo about having a brother for Star. Talk about being mushy and in LOVE. :)
The end…Mrs. Kim…The truth…Inasmuch as Young-min had wanted to protect his mother, she needed to know the truth. It’s too little too late. Damage control should have been done sooner but by hiding his secret this long, Mr. Kim is going down and going down hard. I don’t know if reconciliation is possible for the elder Kims. Mrs. Kim will have to deal with the knowledge of Mr. Kim’s betrayal and then knowing that he denied Jin-joo’s existence. She herself called him a bad person and wondered if he could sleep comfoartably after denying his child. So how could reconcilation be possible for the both of them? I’m waiting to see the scream fest Mrs. Kim will unleash on Mr. Kim.

Brotherly love… Young-min protecting his brother from the harsh truth. Young-min will have to do some BIG damage control. How much more will he be able to handle. He has an evil wife, his parent’s relationship is deteriorating, and then his brother’s impending or not so impending marriage. Poor thing. All he wanted was a good wife and a good life - by marrying Ji-Young he got more than he bargained for.

Mrs. Kang aside from the shock of finally knowing Jin-joo paternity must have also breathed a sigh of relief of having lost a man so unworthy. Not only did he cheat her when he went away to College, but then cheated on his wife, and then left his lover and child back in Vietnam.

This drama is so good, so good. Can’t wait to see Ep. 62.

to mango1991, Jin Joo is the half sister, not step sister because they have the same father. a step sister or step brother is not bloodly related but only related by marriage. Eg I have a step sister who is the daughter of my stepmother but not the daughter of my father. I have a half sister who is my stepmother’s daughter but also my father’s daughter. As long as you share the same father different mother or same mother different father, you both are half siblings. Got the idea now?

I don’t understand something. Why can’t Youngsoo and Saemi still get married. They are not blood related. So Youngsoo is Jinjoo’s brother. Jinjoo is not blood related to Saemi. As long as they are not blood related in any way, it’s ok. Youngsoo and Saemi have already lived together and implied to have sex…so why can’t they marry?
Obviously, I am not Korean or I wouldn’t be asking this question. Is this just a Korean thing. I have never heard this. In the US, no one would care sd long as not blood related.

This scene is where jin joo and jun woo in bed room scene together

Jin Joo: ( couldn’t sleep so she turns over to side ways and worry about something)
Jun Woo: What’s wrong now you can’t go back to sleep. Is it about your father isn’t it
Jin Joo: I told about my mom about my dad since she is loosing her sites so she can see my dad at all. And all she want is that she wants to memoerize by dad as only in picture. I feel so sry for what my mom has to go through now she waited for him so long time and it had to come to ended this way. Im sure she arrived already by now in empty house and I well bet she is crying right now.
Jun Woo: As mother I well bet she is really happy now. Remember you told your dad that he is so happy that she is very healthy and everything and I well bet that was really honestly from him
Jin Joo: How can he do that then. Since I have been growing up I blame on my dad so much and hated him too.
Jun Woo: Because she really love your father very much in honestly
Jin Joo: Ahuujssi! in between us lets say we fight or something do you think you can waited for me like 20yrs later on
      Jun Woo: What about you
Jin Joo: I don’t think I can waited for you. If your not there right next to me every day I don’t think I can live without you at all
Jun Woo: You don’t have to worry about it at all is not going to happend like that at all
Jin Joo: Really then lets make it as promise then. That you never leave me at all and stay with me forever then ( Jun Woo gives kiss to jin joo’s forhead as promise)
Jun Woo: Is that better now
