Ji Min: Yes?

Ajumma: They will be late? Quickly go off

Business had been bad at the Wine Bar and Ahn Yoon Sik went to the bank for a loan and met Song Jae Bin’s Driver and Assistant who were discussing on what wedding present they want to give to Song Jae Bin and Ajumma. Ahn Yoon Sik wasn’t pleased with what he heard.

Sidewalk café. Jang Dong Hwa was reading a book at lunch, when there was a lady on the next table. Jang Dong Hwa’s phone rang and it was Ajumma now his sister in law asking him if she could come over the house to give him some side dishes. Jang Dong Hwa said not to bother as he will drop by the house this weekend to see the kids and he can take the side dishes from her. Ajumma was glad that Jang Dong Hwa was doing fine staying outside on his own. Jang continued reading when a call from the lady who we later we know her as Kim Yu Rim. She was a single woman, a novelist to several famous titles. It’s her mother.

Kim: Hello, Mother. Again. Madam Song, why do you need to be like this? You just give up. I’m busy, right now.

She then puts her phone at a distance

Kim Yu Rim: Yes, Editor, I will be there right away.

She then took the battery out from the phone. (kdrama classic: If you don’t want to answer your phone, you can’t just switch it off, the batteries need to be taken off)

Jang Dong Hwa was smiling at her actions

Press Conference. Jang Dong Chul had been made Ambassador or spokeperson for the Korean Speedboat World racing held in Korea. Ajumma came to lend her support and Song Jae Bin shown everyone that he will attend the race with his wife over there. Camera went clicking. Ajumma managed to make a V sign for the cameras

Back at Jang Dong Hwa’s office. His staff came in as Jang was off for a meeting. They are having problems with the novelist who was not keen to give the rights to make a movie out of her book.

Staff: Are you going personally? It may not be easy

Jang Dong Hwa: What is that?

Staff: The writer perspective is very firm

Jang Dong Hwa: Because of the publishing rights

Staff: No. It is that the writer is slightly direct, to take her novel to shoot it into a drama or a movie will bungled it up. So the writer doesn’t have much trust in it. We have sent many representative to persuade her, but it is useless

Jang Dong Hwa: We shall see when we meet

Sidewalk café. The writer he was about to meet was the same lady he met during lunch who took off the batteries off

Jang Dong Hwa: That’s why I came for

Kim Yu Rim: Why is it have to be my novel? There are many famous novel around. There are those who write and sell the rights are also many.

Jang Dong Hwa: Your writing is fresh and out of this current trend. From the first chapter each person will read it, may not come to the same conclusion. It is not of the ordinary. If it can be made into a movie, it will be a good product. Just to see it in books, is a pity.

Kim Yu Rim: It is said that you are interested in the book? You have seen a third of it and have already yawn 3 times

Jang Dong Hwa: Ah!

Kim Yu Rim: Said to be interested is false?

Jang Dong Hwa: There are times when I read a book not for business prospect but a book to read just for leisure in the afternoon, so that is why I chose to read Ms Yu Rim’s books

Kim Yu Rim: I’m sorry. My book is such a yawn stimulates me. Let sign the contract….What is the term and conditions?

Jang Dong Hwa smiles. (We see this relationship no further that this, so we have to make our own conclusion)

Family outing. Song Jae Bin dragged the reluctant children for a trip

Hu: Uncle!

Ji Min: Oppa!

The children were complaining. Hu over that exam was near and Ji Min had an appointment with friends

Ji Min: Jae Bin Oppa, you are too dictatorial

Song Jae Bin: Keep quiet. Why are you all so nagging? I have said it. We need to go for these trips. United we stand Divided we fall. If you say anymore, we will go to the mountain next weekend. Understand?

Hu: Uncle?

Ji Min: Oppa?

Song Jae Bin: Look at you. Are we consider a family? Father can be called Uncle, and one to be called Oppa

Ajumma: There is Ajumma. What are you doing?

Song Jae Bin: So until we are comfortable to call Omma and Appa, we will be making a great effort on it, by getting ourselves closely knitted.

Picnic. Song Jae Bin and the kids were having fun at the park, while Ajumma looked on. She felt that everybody was staring at her.

Ajumma: Want to hide but nowhere to do it? Dong Chul, that fellow at his age.

Song Jae Bin turned around and Ajumma staring at him. Song Jae Bin talked to her on the walkie talkie

Song Jae Bin: Hong Sun Hee, Come here, Over

Ajumma: What is it, Over?

Song Jae Bin: Why aren’t you participating, Over?

Ajumma: Everybody is looking. How to have fun? Over

Song Jae Bin: Aiyah! Why are you like that? Over. I want you to reply before sun set, Over

Ajumma: I can’t really talk through him.

Ajumma wanted them to finish up eating the picnic so that she can go home and hide

Ajumma opened up the picnic boxes and called for the children to come and eat but none of them were interested as they want to continue to play on

Ajumma unzipped the boxes to find a note.

“Song Jae Bin who have the love of half a world of fans. Returned to become Jang Dong Chul, will strongly wish to have one woman’s love. But to have her love, compare to having it as Top Star is way too far. Madam Hong, I wish for you for the rest of your life that you will be able to self-question yourself to be better. Jang Dong Chul. P.S Look at me.

Ajumma looked at Song Jae Bin

Song Jae Bin: I love you.

Song Jae Bin then asked the kids to come over and whispered to them

Hu & Ji Min: Omma! Omma!

Ajumma was surprised at them calling her mother

Ji Min: There aren’t many people here. Get up. Quickly

Hu and Ji Min dragged Ajumma out and they played like a happy family of four

“Hong Sun Hee, If I have never met you, what will I have done”
