Oh Tae Suk: Have you been practicing? Do you wish to be an Anchor so much? I can’t really comprehend. You just give out a slightest effort that you don’t appreciated the work you do & just like to have this limelight. Is this the recent style trend of working?
Seo Woo Jin: Why this way, can’t it be?
Oh Tae Suk: What?

Lift door open & Oh Tae Suk goes in & Seo Woo Jin follows for a confrontation to have Oh Tae Suk explain why he against it. There was passenger at the lift as well
Seo Woo Jin: Please answer me. Although I don’t know why you are treating me this way? I’m really disappointed with you. Are you disliked me so much that I become an anchor? If not, is there some hatred towards it? I didn’t once neglect my job because of the audition. Is that so wrong?
Oh Tae Suk: It looks like you don’t understand what I’m saying
Seo Woo Jin: A lowly self like me, how can I not understand the meaning of the high & mighty self like you. Furthermore I know for a fact if you are a Senior, when a Junior have the opportunity, you should at least render some support
Lift door open & the passenger disembark, Seo Woo Jin follow out
Seo Woo Jin: Although I don’t know why you dislike me so much. I have yet seen someone that is so narrow minded in my life
Lift door close, Seo Woo Jin walks & then realize she is on the wrong floor. She had to climd the stairs & Oh Tae Suk was waiting for her in the stairs exit.
Oh Tae Suk: it your mind, what kind of people, can be able to be an anchor. Why do you want to be an anchor? Haven’t you give any thought to it? It is because that just follow what the top management asked of you to participate, isn’t it? If it not so, why didn’t you refuse? Do you know how people evaluate us? The person who exposure themselves on broadcast, are they consider real Journalist? They don’t look like Journalist but more like Stars. Do you wish to become a Star & not a broadcasting anchor?
Oh Tae Suk leaves then Seo Woo Jin is left to ponder

Choe Min Eun: Go, she is calling you.
Seo Woo Jin prepares herself. She enters the studio to take a seat at the news desk when she sees that Oh Tae Suk is on the panel of judges.
Oh Tae Suk: This 2nd Audition content is to test your evaluation to handle urgent situation when you need to bring out a Breaking News. In front of you there are guest in the studios, you need to have the ability to be able to control the environment of cross references. Please wear the mic & ear piece
Seo Woo Jin: Yes
Seo Woo Jin wear the mic on her lapel jacket & a crew help her with the ear piece.
Oh Tae Suk: If you are ready, let’s us start. I will be acting as the role of a Technical Director & I will brief you on the subject as we go along. You need to take the subject core & bring it out as news bulletin. In the middle I will be prompting you with more briefs through as voice in your ear piece.
Seo Woo Jin: Yes
Oh Tae Suk: Today at 7 o’clock, Sungnyemun is on fire. It will be a 3 mins broadcast
Seo Woo Jin: What, 3 mins?
Oh Tae Suk: Yes. Countdown in 5 secs. 5…4…3…2…1 Cue!
Seo Woo Jin: We have received news that Korea National Treasure No. 1 Sungnyemun is on fire
Sunnyenum is also know as NamDaeMun. In Seoul it is a landmark that pairs with Heunginjimun a.k.a DongDaemun.
Seo Woo Jin takes a while to composure herself
Seo Woo Jin: The extinguishing of the fire, the present situation is yet to known.
(This is where I left off. Due to the fact that was a change in scriptwriter in middle of the series, it gave a very disjointed hiccups. As a person who was formerly in this broadcast industry, glitches does put me off the interest track. In order to complete the series I will continue with the brief summaries so to put an end to the chapter. I will not continue with the transcript format & pour that resources to some other project. I have started on Scales of Providence)
The topic given was the arson on Dongdaemun & the rescue effort of the fire department to save this historical relic. As you may know that Dongdaemun is famous landmark that associated with Seoul. Dongdaemun is also designated as the Korean National Treasure No 1, to say the least the importance of this ancient gate is. Seo Woo Jin managed to weave through her lines at ad hoc well, while Oh Tae Suk give her prompter lines for her to present the news brief. It also comes from her experiences as a field reporter where impromptu are a daily rituals. Oh Tae Suk is happy on the seo Woo Jin’s performances of keeping her calm. But seo Woo Jin herself wasn’t too confident.
The next was Choe Min Eun for audition. Confidently enters the audition then find it is a impromptu test on abilities. Her topic was the collapse of the Sambong Departmental store. Choe Min Eun couldn’t pull it off & starts to stutters with the judges marking with dismay. Choe Min Eun failed miserably in this audition
Seo Woo Jin takes a breather at the rooftop on her own substandard trying to make it as an anchor. Choe Min Eun comes up sobbing & Seo Woo Jin tries to give words of console ended being reprimanded by her for looking down on her & accused her of bribing Oh Tae Suk with a bottle of red wine for favours
Meanwhile Ahn Jung Suk & Jung Song Il’s anchor audition was also a laughing joke disaster. Jung Song Il reading was so goose bump, while Ahn Jung Suk looks so stiff like corpse
Seo Woo Jin sit at home & sulks. A phone call & inform that she has pass the anchor audition at would like her come for an interview with the management. She is so shocked at the news but her parents are overjoyed for her. Her mother have always said that her daughter is so beautiful to be a field reporter where there is always a risk of dangers
Choe Min Eun is disappointed on Seo Woo Jin had made it to the list. TD Hong got some insider information (the cleaner) that Oh Tae Suk gave Seo Woo Jin the highest marks in the audition. Seo Woo Jin came back to station only to smell a heavy gunpowder of temper in the air.
Oh Tae Suk is not to happy with her report on the Grandmother who gave her savings to a scholarship fund. If she doesn’t get an visual of the Grandmother, he will drop her report.
Seo Woo Jin tries but the Grandmother is unconscious to be interview.
Lee Sun Chul tells that Oh Tae Suk had given her the highest mark for the audition, & she went to confront Oh Tae Suk on it. Oh Tae Suk, he didn’t give her high marks but she meets the criteria on what is need during the audition, even an veteran anchor may not be able to have such result. Her audition was the best. He hopes she become a great anchor. She then asked why he had been against her throughout the audition. He replied because “you have the potential to be a superb journalist” that why he did so. She is surprise that Oh Tae Suk would give her such praise.
On the interview, Seo Woo Jin gets a call from the next of kin family that the grandmother doesn’t have much longer to live & if she was to interview with her, to come now. Sensing her duty as a journalist, Seo Woo Jin was in the dilemma on whether she wants the anchor job or her vocation as a journalist. She rushed through the interview. She then gave a great speech of what journalism is all about & excused herself & rushed like crazy to the hospital, only to find out that the Grandmother’s ward bed was empty. She had passed away. Min Jae Guk wasn’t all too happy with Seo Woo Jin’s action in running off in front of higher management & reprimands Oh Tae Suk.
It was too late. At the funeral where Seo Woo Jin attended, the adopted daughter passed a audio recorder of the recording of the Grandmother’s last wish & will. She didn’t want to be known of her deeds she had done & the reason behind it. Seo Woo Jin finally got her interview & report air. This also establish that she wants to be a journalist more than an anchor. Oh Tae Suk praise on the report she had done & she ask Oh Tae Suk that if she could stayed on. She asked if she made a correct choice. Oh Tae Suk assures her with a handshake that before & now she had done well. He then welcome Seo Woo Jin back to his staffing
The new recruits finally got their installation & accepted as full staff. There are each give some screen time testimony on camera. Meanwhile Oh Tae Suk is looking with glee on the testimony that Seo Woo Jin made when she 1st became full staff. It may be a start of their romance.
The group went on a group outing at the theme park, playing bumper cars. The section left all the senior staff to mend the fort. Min Jae Guk suggest that they will bring out a new programme format on the current issues & asked him to think who may anchored the programme. Oh Tae Suk came later & had a fun time. A different person when he is at work. They then proceed to drink up session where they plated truth game. Seo woo Jin managed to rag Oh tae Suk
Then an exclusive news exploded. Due to the lack of staffing no one was covering it. Oh Tae Suk gets a call from the station. The staff is then recalled back to the station to be on top of the news
